Terms of sale

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website, and by accessing www.epicplay.co.uk website and placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

Placing your order

When you select products, you wish to purchase, they will be added to your shopping cart. When you are ready to place your order, you will be directed through the checkout process. To place your order, press the “Place Order” button at the checkout. At this point, you will be obliged to make your payment. You will be directed to the Paypal, Stripe, Google Pay or ApplePay payment gateway.

Order Acceptance

Once we receive your order, we will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered. This does not determine our acceptance of the contract. Once products are dispatched from Epic Play Ltd you will be notified by email, which will indicate the completion of a contract between you and us.

Before dispatch, we may cancel your order as a result of one of the following:

The product you ordered is not in stock and will not be back in stock shortly.  Whilst we try to avoid this and to ensure that our website reflects actual stock, there may be times when this is not possible.

The identification of a pricing or product description error.

A fraudulent transaction has been identified.

We will contact you via email if your order has been cancelled owing to one of the reasons above with a full explanation.

Pricing

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time. However, changes will not affect orders where we have sent you an order confirmation email.

Price Promise

We promise to match any price on selected products with the price match logo. Please contact us if you buy from us and find the product cheaper elsewhere in the UK.

Description of products

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products on the website are correct. Although we aim to keep the website as up-to-date as possible, the information, including product Descriptions appearing on the website, may not always reflect the position exactly when you place an order.  We have included full and complete manufacturers’ size guides on all pages for your reference.

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receipt of payment when an order is placed during the working week. For orders placed after 4pm on Friday, we will begin dispatching your order the following Monday. For information on our current delivery policy, please see our delivery information page.

Inspection

You should inspect the products upon receipt and check that everything is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem or you cancel your order in accordance with your cancellation right and/or you return the products in accordance with our returns policy and procedure. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the products at a later date. A full refund/exchange will be given on faulty Products or where an incorrect item(s) has been sent to you. Claims will only be settled after the faulty products have been returned, with the nature of the fault clearly stated.

Gift voucher terms and conditions

Gift Vouchers may be used to purchase goods online at www.epicplay.co.uk. The gift voucher must be redeemed in full at the time of purchase. No refunds can be given for any part of the unused voucher. Vouchers are valid for one year. No refunds will be given for expired vouchers. Gift vouchers may be used to purchase goods of a higher price than the amount on the gift voucher, but the difference must be paid by credit or debit card through Paypal. Epic Play Ltd can not accept liability for lost or stolen gift vouchers. Where goods purchased with a gift voucher are subsequently returned in accordance with our return policy and a refund is requested, monies owing will be refunded in the form of an e-voucher. Epic Play Ltd reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift vouchers at any time.

Voucher codes

We may, at our discretion, offer voucher codes and discount promotions. We reserve the right to withdraw any voucher code or discount promotion anytime. Vouchers may only be redeemed through the website www.epicplay.co.uk and not through any other website or method of communication. To use your voucher you will be required to enter its unique code at the online checkout, and use of such code will be deemed to confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions and any special conditions attached to the voucher. Any discounts attached to vouchers apply to the price of the products ordered only and not delivery charges, which will be chargeable at normal rates. We reserve the right to exclude voucher codes on specific products. We will not retrospectively apply voucher codes to orders which have been previously placed.

Limitation of Liability
No liability will be accepted for any injury, loss or damage suffered from the use of the Epic Play Ltd website or any products supplied by Epic Play Ltd.

Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Refunds

We aim to process all refunds as quickly as possible. please allow up to 14 working days for refunds and replacements to be processed. All refunds will be made using the same payment method where goods are purchased in-store and using the same card or PayPal account used at the time of placing the order for goods purchased online.

The customers’ statutory rights are not affected.

Please note that the time taken to process a refund and/or release any pre-authorisation taken on your card may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider. In our experience, it can take up to 8 days. This processing time is completely outside our control, and any delay is not on the part of Epic Play Ltd.

Damaged goods

When your goods are delivered, you will be asked to sign for them. When signing, please remember you accept your order as received in good condition unless you indicate otherwise. If the goods are damaged, please accept the delivery and sign the delivery sheet / Hand Held Terminal as ‘damaged goods’.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
