Working

Working role play, which covers tool sets, workbenches and construction play, is one of the most hands-on forms of imaginative play available for young children. It builds problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination and an understanding of how objects fit together, all through direct physical activity.

Smoby's Black and Decker range brings the world's best-known power tool brand into children's role play. The Smoby Black and Decker Mega Construction Centre is the flagship set: a large, freestanding construction station packed with tools, screws, bolts and building tasks. The Builder Workbench is a more compact option that retains the key features at a smaller footprint.

The Bricolo Workbench and Bricolo Pro are equally popular. The Bricolo Pro is the premium version with more tools, more assembly tasks and a higher level of detail. Both are well suited to children who like to build and fix things.

All Smoby working toys come with tools and accessories included. They are suitable for indoor use and are built to withstand the kind of repeated, enthusiastic play that children put them through.
