I've given this excellent trampoline 4 stars purely on two points
The first was more related to the delivery company who only delivered part of the order as a result the trampoline, which was a gift, couldn't be built in time for my granddaughter's birthday. I'll give credit to the sales team at epic play as they chased the delivery company until we received the missing box.
The second point is the ability for the trampoline safety net to be easily folded for winter storage which after the amount of effort to tension it on the the support poles during assembly I would very much doubt I will be able to disassemble it easily to the point I will not be attempting it which makes the provided cover redundant as you can't fit it unless the safety net poles are removed.
HI,
to store the trampoline for the winter and use the cover, please remove the top ring of the enclosure net then, un-bolt the enclosure poles from the legs of the trampoline and lay them into the middle of the trampoline (pointing to the middle) then you will be able to use the cover over the top of the lot to store the trampoline for the winter . if you have any questions then please email sales@epicplay.co.uk
3 weeks since putting it up now. This is a great trampoline, quite big. Kids are 7 and 9 and they and the local kids seem very impressed with it. Build feels strong and netting feels safe. Strong enough for adults too quite easily. It arrived quickly in 3 big heavy boxes, one driver so I helped carry them in. Construction is a challenge as expected. Leave about 4 hours for it and 2 people and you will be fine. Getting the springs in takes some brute strength as does fitting poles together. Worth the effort in the end!
I ordered this trampoline a couple of weeks ago now. Delivery was pretty quick, esepecially considering the size and that I'm in Northern Ireland.
I had read how difficult assembly is, for this and other similar products. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. There were 3 big boxes, and all the poles were well labelled, and each type of **** was in a separate, labelled packet, making it easy to identify each piece.
I was able to do the first 5 steps without any help, and it was fairly quick, although the screws felt a bit too tight at first. Pacing the springs was quite physical, but that's to be expected.
The more challenging part was getting the netting and net frame in place. Again, most of it was possible to do on my own, but the very last bit was quite a challenge to get the poles together * the **** holes lines up. Still, I'm impressed with the labelling and build quality of everything.
Most importantly, the trampoline is relatively light (i.e. can be moved slightly after being erected), but very sturdy. The bounce of the matt is fantastic. The neeting is high and well built, and there's no chance of falling through springs. The net closes nicely, so I can leave my son in there with no worries. Really good quality, and well worth spending the money to get it
Super quality trampoline. I was able to put this together by myself in about 2 hours - instructions simple and parts well labeled. More expensive than other trampolines but having said that you get what you pay for and this is a great product and in my opinion worth the extra money. Great design with the net attached to the bed so no chance of falling between the pads & springs. Kids are using it every day and so good for their fitness. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
It took a lot for me to bring myself to pay the asking price for this trampoline, but it was definitely worth it. Superior build quality and exceeded my expectations. Safe, sturdy and can even take a hefty adult weight. My Son had grown out of his 8ft trampoline, but we didn’t have space for a larger round one. So the 8ft x 12ft was perfect for him to improve his skills that needed more room. Only one drawback would be the “easy” unclip for the poles and surround is not that easy.
And definitely takes two or more people to install. Once it’s up it’s fabulous though.
